Palamós, past and present

Palamós is a small town in the Costa Brava. Their past is linked to the sea and distinguished residents such as Truman Capote. Tradition, food and business have a common and charming place in the new Espai del Peix, a public tribute to old-fashioned fishermen -still an important business in town- and Mediterranean lifestyle. But is also a place to enjoy with all the senses. The visitor can see the arrival of the boats in the afternoon, the auction of fish -a parade of sounds, smells and bright reflections- and tasting typical dishes. The proposal is addressed to both adults and children. After a visit at the most dynamic and photogenic harbour of Girona, -you can also visit the interesting Museu de la Pesca- a walk along the shore is required. After all, just enjoy the sunset in a terrace where In Cold Blood’s writer drank Martinis.
A date in a garden near the sea
You deserve a garden near the sea. You deserve some beautiful, inspired music. You deserve a walk along a quiet harbour. You deserve the best night you can have. Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi has gave us tonight the best night in a dreamed garden made of music and sensations. But you can still have your own perfect night in Girona. Just check Porta Ferrada, Cap Roig, Festival de Peralada. Hotel Nord 1901 staff will be proud to inform you about great music festivals in Girona.
A lovers who dance

Oui mon amour. Je t’attendrai dans notre chambre à l’Hotel Nord 1901 Girona habillée dans ce robe en rouge que j’ai acheté ce soir. Je t’attendrai et quand tu arrives on dancera La Javanaise jusqu’a le matin… (Some things can only be said in French. If you want the girl’s red dress just go to Poète, 6th North Street, in front of the hotel. But please don’t disturb the lovers, even if La javanaise is still sounding out of their window…)
